It reminded me of the time I took Janell and Avery to Simply Fondue or some such restaurant. Janell and I weren&#039;t married yet, but we spent a lot of time together... going to eat, painting Christmas ornaments, roller blading, etc. 

Avery was 4 at the time. Janell and I had already been talking about marriage, and I had already planned how I would ask her. 

He looked over at me and said, &quot;I wish you were my dad.&quot;

The rest, as they say, is history.</description>
