Back to Russia!

Starting him out right
Well, we’re leaving this weekend. Bound for Russia. And this time we’re going to be bringing Sasha home! We’re very excited as you can imagine. But there’s a healthy dose of anxiety there as well to balance it all out. We’ve spent the past several weeks preparing the house (and ourselves) for his pending arrival. I find myself constantly trying to see all of the things we take for granted through the eyes of a 5 year old that has no idea what’s in store for him. At any rate, I’ll try to post as frequently as I can but, as with our last trip, connectivity can be pretty spotty. Please keep us in your prayers. It’s a L O N G way there and back. Oh, and the weather’s a little cooler than it is in Texas these days. As I’m writing this it’s 75F here and 24F there. And it’s been snowing for the past several weeks there. (the picture above is from our last trip)

Hi everyone. You are continually in our prayers. I pray that the process and the transition will be like the steps ordered of the Lord.
