Happy Birthday Sasha!!

Sashka with toy car Today is August 15, 2007 and it’s Sasha’s birthday! He is 5 years old today. We’ve been wading through the remaining paperwork to finalize the dossier with the hopes of bringing him home soon. We can’t wait to introduce him to his new home and the rest of his family. He’s been a constant focus of our thoughts, prayers and conversation ever since we returned from our first trip to Russia. We should have all our documents finalized and sent off this week. Next we wait to hear back with our court date. I don’t quote Tom Petty very often but in this case “The waiting is the hardest part.”
