Stacy making a purchase at flea market in Moscow
Our first full day in Moscow was a pretty full one. We weren’t scheduled to board our train for Chevashiya until late that evening so we tried to keep ourselves busy. Dima (our driver – and new friend) must be one of the best tour guides in all of Moscow. He took us to the local flea market where we were able to get some really good deals on souvenirs for some of the folks back home. In this picture Stacy has just finished bargaining (with Dima’s help) with this gentleman for the purchase of several hand made scarfs. And, yes, she did manage to get a few more rubles off… I guess a bargain is a bargain no matter how far from home you are.
