More than meets the eye…

Sasha isn’t exactly what we expected. He’s much brighter and more energetic to say the least. And the size of his vocabulary really caught me off guard. He’s not even 5 yet but apparently he doesn’t realize that. There’s definitely a lot going on behind those big brown eyes and he’s not too shy about letting you know that he has an opinion on things. He’s not one to take a simple “no” (or “nyet”) for an answer. But if you’re willing to take the time to explain your reasoning to him he’s more than accommodating and cooperative. We saw that on more than a few occasions during our stay. Of course, my ability to provide him with that level of detail is limited by my comprehension of the language. So I guess I’d better see about picking up the pace over the next few months….
